6 steps to take actions right now

Image
I wish I didn't play it too safe" said my father then he continued "you're young, so get out and take risks, fail and learn". That was enough for me to take action towards my goals. Just think about it, you work for your goals and you achieve them, wouldn't it be amazing? Easier said than done, right? If you don't give a chance to yourself, it will never happen. What is worst, we all tried to do something to make our lives better. Especially, in new years, many people have that 'new year, new me' mindset. Weird enough, they and also you pursued the same habits to achieve different goals. It's like eating chicken and expecting the taste of beef. After all of the failed attempts, you become hopeless and start to believe that you don't have what it takes. The good news? You do have what it takes! However, first things first. The main reason you failed in the past is this: you set a goal in your mind, you read, listen, watch and...

Are you sorry for yourself ?

Image
Not again. I can't believe this is happening to me. Am I ever going to catch a break? I can't trust anyone. Sometimes you just hit a wall. Other times you are making a choice to be a victim. It is your mindset that causes the murky waters. Yes, there will be times when life isn't fair. And I never wish to minimise anyone's suffering. But we need to ask ourselves if we are causing self imposed suffering? I think we all are guilty of this at some point in our lives. But so many have the "Not Again" attitude that is draining not only them, but everyone else around them. I see this all too often in my practice. A new client comes in and tells me all the terrible things that are happening to them. I go into support mode and begin to line up some action items to stop the suffering. Over the course of a few months, no action items have been completed, let alone attempted. There is blame being cast at every person that is left in their life. And lastly...

Consistent effort is what it takes

Become A Greater Version Of Yourself Let's get straight to the point as I want to speak from the heart. Sometimes, a goal or dream may seem insurmountable from where you stand. I know what it's like. Whilst people may consider you successful from the outside, there's a lot hidden out of sight they're unaware of. Success is subjective because no two people share the same outlook. One must find their own measure of success and live by that ideal, instead of believing they are a failure. For example, if I consider myself unsuccessful compared to an internationally bestselling author with millions of followers like Tony Robbins, I am likely to feel like a failure. By this measure, comparing my success to others is not a correct representation because no two paths are the same. The point is to create your own definition of success because it helps you know whether you are on track. You must think with the end in mind since you are likely to achiev...

You Do have a choice

Image
Choices abound. Sometimes choices confound us, while at other times, certain choices are rather obvious. Any way you approach the subject, choices present opportunities to either excel or hinder. As human beings, we were endowed by our Creator with the power of choice. It is one of the factors that differentiate persons from animals. Some people make these choices or decisions more easily than others. Each day, we must decide how we will spend our precious twenty four hours and deal with all that the world presents to us. We choose how we will be affected by both everyday occurrences and those that are much more extraordinary. Whether consciously or unconsciously, we choose to either react or respond. These are not the same, for one is negative and one is positive. Which we choose may have a significant impact on our life and possibly those close to us. Reacting to outside influences, usually beyond our control is generally a negative choice. Reacting implies t...

What To Do When You Feel Your Best Isn't Enough

Image
There are essential factors that sustain solid an individual's development and advancement. Do you feel you give life your best, work hard, try hard, but still can't give yourself credit? While it appears to be anything but difficult to grasp mentally, freeing oneself from old negative messages is a journey of recovery which takes some serious work. There is commonly a great deal of strain t in our way of life. We feel as though there is some kind of problem with us if, for instance, we're still single despite our age, never find another love after a broken marriage, don't make a specific measure of salary, don't have a huge group of friends, or don't look and act a specific path within the sight of others. The rundown could genuinely go on for eternity. Now and again amidst all the pressures, we still appear to thoroughly overlook all the superb, interesting things about ourselves. How To Remain Motivated Despite Uncertainties

Image
Uncertainty puts my motivation and confidence at risk. The absence of prescience is one of the most widely recognized antecedents of disappointment.
